| Well. There's a story behind that! As I was approaching my apartment building, (With my roller buggy full of potato's) I saw a friend running all around outside without a coat on! I said to her, "Hey! You're not wearing a coat!" She said, "Yes! But it's not cold out!!!" At this point, she progressed in having me totally distracted with her incessant babble! She opened the door to the lobby, so I could get me and my buggy in. 'Still' with her incessant babble distracting me, we got in the elevator. She got off on her floor, and I progressed further up on the elevator. When the door opened for me to get out, I got out, and rolled my buggy behind me, way down the hall to my apartment! When I got to my apartment, I put the key into the door ...but it wouldn't turn!!! It turned-out that I had gotten-off on the wrong floor!!! When I looked behind me, to go back to the elevator, I saw HUGE mud all over, from the wheels of my buggy!!! OH!!! I went back to the elevator, and went up to my proper floor. - And tracked "MORE MUD" all the way to my door!!! OH! IT WAS AN AWFUL CLEAN-UP THAT I HAD TO DO ...BACK TRACKING ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE FRONT DOOR OF THE APARTMENT BUILDING!!! Now, I forget what this subject is. Oh! Who was the last person I spoke to? Well. When I was sweeping-up on the wrong floor, a man went by, and I said, "I got-off at this wrong floor, with my muddy buggy ...and now I have to clean it up!" He said, "Oh." NO! ...WAIT A MINUTE!!! The last person I spoke to, was a woman that I let in the front door. (With my broom in my hand.) I told her what had happened ...and we babbled-on incessantly, until she reached her floor on the elevator! | |
