| Prefer using the desktop. Larger screen, better keyboard and most of my files and bookmarks are there.
When I do use the laptop usually plug a mouse in rather than using the touchpad. | |

| desktop..I can work it better without the need for swearing which I seem to do on my son's laptop..I think it refuses to work just to annoy me  | |

| Well my other half has a desktop which i used to use myself in the afternoons only, but he bought me my own Laptop 3 years ago and i loved it, but i should point out that from the start i hated the pad, my husband got me a trackball (which i love) for it. At the start of this year my laptop screen gave up the ghost, so i now have the laptop on a shelf next to my chair and i swich it on every day so i can operate the keyboard and 21" flatscreen my husband set up for me, so i guess i have a Laputer or maybe Comtop. | |

| I use an old antiquated rebuilt IBM, I bought for $85.  I have no problems with it. – IT’S GREAT!!!  They’re on sale now for $58. My monitor sits on top of it. - I sprung for an LCD, as it's easier on the eyes.  $80. …now $53. | |
